NYCE.LOGIC, a part of Extenda Retail, has announced a partnership with ESTG to provide and implement a market-ready, best-of-breed Warehouse Management System, initially for their primary distribution hub in Oosterhout in the Netherlands. The technology provider is excited to be part of ESTG’s ambition to be a driving force in providing professional installers across Europe with the sustainable energy products they need on time and in full, both now and in the future.
ESTG is an international wholesaler of sustainable energy products. From their energy-neutral business premises in Oosterhout in the Netherlands, they supply more than 7,000 professional installers and complete in excess of 60,000 deliveries a year, to 38 European countries.
“Market forces have created an unprecedented demand for renewables, driven by a rapid change in environment, economic, and geo-political attitudes and events. As Europe’s leading distributor of sustainable energy products, we realized that the software applications at the core of our business were simply unable to cope with this new complexity and volume. NYCE.LOGIC’s WMS provides our warehouse operations with structure, scale, and class-leading capability, all through a standard software deployment. It was the winning choice in the end,” says Raymond Roelands, Chief Technology Officer of ESTG.
NYCE.LOGIC was selected as the result of a comprehensive market evaluation. The implementation is scheduled to commence in August 2022 and will be completed prior to the peak season. The WMS will be integrated with equipment and third-party applications by utilizing a ground-up, API-first approach, and the rich, flexible, standard out-of-the-box functionality coupled with a comprehensive roadmap of future enhancements means that costly customizations are all but eliminated.
“We are laser-focused on delivering value to retailers, distributors and logistics providers who operate in sectors where we are proven to excel. ESTG represents a perfect fit for a successful and long-term relationship. We were excited by the early cultural and business alignment, alongside the clear, long-term opportunity to create a win-win partnership with shared common goals as a foundation. Our mission is to make companies like ESTG as successful as possible by providing the best software applications on the market for increasingly complex physical supply chains – today, tomorrow and beyond. Continuous improvement is a key ingredient to a competitive edge in today’s market,” says Peter Johansson, Head of the NYCE.LOGIC Business Unit at Extenda Retail.
Leendert Venema, CEO of Extenda Retail says, “The pandemic and geopolitical events have forced businesses and consumers to reconsider their energy needs and consumption. Extenda Retail has been granted a tremendous opportunity to partner with a market leader, ESTG, and help deliver on their mission to make a significant impact on sustainable and environmentally friendlier societies.
“I am very encouraged to witness the progress of our WMS expansion strategy in new geographies like the Netherlands, and we expect now to accelerate our ambitions for profitable growth.”
ESTG (European Sustainable Technology Group) started from a garage box in the Netherlands in 2010. After several moves, with an increasingly larger warehouse, ESTG has a 12,500 m2 warehouse since July 2020. From this warehouse, ESTG serves more than 7,000 professionals in 38 European countries as an international distributor with products that contribute to a sustainable society (e.g. Solar, LED lighting and charging stations).
